Such a great group of individuals!
The 1st & 2nd grade families had a joyful afternoon decorating Christmas cookies with icing and all types of colorful toppings! Thank you to our 1st grade teacher, Mrs. Vona who made 12 dozen cookies and to Ms. Mealia, 2nd grade teacher for many of the decorating items. The Kindergarten students were amazed with excitement as they rode the Polar Express and the ringing bell! Thank you to the 7th grade elves that shared the ride with their Kindergarten friends. A special thanks to Mrs. Jacobsen and Mrs. Durkin who added all the magic to the ringing bell. This is just wonderful!
I do not and thank you, I love these pictures! ❤️
Thanksgiving activities have filled our halls and classrooms this week. Students in 2nd grade enjoyed “dressing” a turkey with pre-made stickers during their World Language class. Their papers included a special Thanksgiving prayer to share with their families. We have so much to be thankful for this time of year. Enjoy this Thanksgiving day with family and friends and reflect on your many blessings. #SJRproud, #WeAreSJR, #archphilly, #AOPS_schools, @aops_schools ... See MoreSee Less

Today our school community gathered together for a special Thanksgiving Prayer Service. This week each student made a grateful leaf that was placed at the alter and the 4th grade added pumpkins of thanks. The Pre-K sang “A Thankful Heart” and the 2nd grade sang “What A Wonderful World”. Fr. Muka reminded us as to the importance of having a thankful heart each and every day! #SJRproud, #archphilly, #AOPS_schools, Archdiocese of Philadelphia Schools - AOPS, #WeAreSJR ...
